PROD142 reflective journal

Recently I bought an iPad to further explore my knowledge of design platforms for this course and with this and the upcoming colour studies that needed to be done I explored many. I explored many different colour variations to fit not only our allocated themes but also the overall design of the character and vehicle.

Problems I encountered was just overall layout on my chosen design app and trying to figure out where everything is and exporting files to my laptop to post on Blogger. which I easily figured out after a YouTube video. The overall aesthetic of our design so far is very much matching our allocated themes and is both a conjoined design me and my partner are very ecstatic about. Our colour scheme for our character and vehicle is mainly revolved around the chosen colours we have seen when exploring Venetian carnivals and the outfits worn during and has heavily influenced our design choices. Such as either very bright colours representing love and life or more moody earthy tones that me and my partner explored extensively. Next me and my partner are working on our model sheet for both the vehicle and character as we are both struggling to understand the software and overall deciding on a colour scheme for the final concept of both car and vehicle.
