Final reflection

Finished Vehicle: Finished Environment: Final charecter During this process, we completed the environment and vehicle relatively on time; however, our other teammate kept passing all his work from the character onto the rest of us, and he did not really understand how to use Maya. When we got to the final submission, we could not render the environment and add it to the turntable due to too many files attached to it. We got advised by one of the TAs to just delete it and only submit the character and vehicle, as we only had an hour before the due time. I am very satisfied with the aesthetics of the final product of all three elements; however, I am disappointed with the character due to not having enough time to finish it. But overall, I am very happy with the environment and ecstatic with how the vehicle came through. Like I stated, I am very happy with the modelling of the vehicle and environment and quite disappointed with the character, but it can't be helped now. I feel like ...

Peach tick: Current progress for Peach-Tick my contribution is the environment so far. No newer changes have been made since last week's post regarding character and vehicle. Other than color being added to the vehicle but I don't have photographic evidence of this. Reflection on modelling process of the Environment: me The topology has been kept relatively clean and simple, which helps maintain a good base mesh for future detailing or t exturing.  The model follows the reference concept closely, with a bit more creativity added The model accurately reflects the proportions and layout of the reference drawing.  The overall silhouette reads clearly and matches the concept art effectively. The form feels balanced and believable as a rainy dim neon street walker.  I really enjoyed creating this building as it was aesthetically pleasing to the eye and matches the concept art to the best of my ability. I enjoy the color scheme as well as its matchiness to the vehicle....

Peach tick current group progress: Reflection on Modelling Progress of the environment: Me Topology & Modelling Process: The geometry is kept simple and clean, which is good practice at this stage because it allows us to focus on proportions and layout before committing to detail. The building approach (balconies, windows, wall panels) also makes the design easier to manage and edit later. Topology looks straightforward with large flat faces, efficient for hard-surface modelling. Progress & Refinement: The lighting and rain effect add atmosphere, which starts pushing the piece towards its intended visual direction. The neon-like purple balcony and the cyan-lit windows contrast strongly against the black/red walls, giving the scene a cyberpunk/urban night-time aesthetic. The later addition of the lantern props bring a sense of life and detail that starts to make the building feel more grounded. What is Working Well: Building base structure : The design is clean and easy to build...
